Measurements are great, but the quality of the materials could be better.
Superbly packaged, nothing gets damaged. Setup via the app is very easy, and the app works flawlessly. Start the app, step on the scale, and it immediately begins recording the data. The app displays a history and shows which values have increased or decreased. I can't say for sure if the measurements are 100% accurate, but the displayed data seems plausible.
Now for my criticism. As another reviewer mentioned, the retractable arm/cord retraction mechanism isn't exactly confidence-inspiring. It stops quite frequently. The scale could also have been significantly heavier. Since you have to step onto the scale barefoot, it often happens that your last foot "sticks" to the scale when stepping off, causing it to briefly lift and then fall back down. The plastic also doesn't feel particularly high-quality. But for me personally, what matters most is whether it fulfills its primary function, and it does.

Taurus Wellness Body Fat Scale Pro
The scale has proven to be as described. It seems to be sensitive to both hand grips and foot position, as I rarely get results on the first try. A great device to inspire weight management and muscle maintenance, even for someone over 85 like me.
My only complaint is about the UPS package delivery company, which, despite its promise and the door code given, does not deliver the shipment to the address given.

Body analysis scale
It does what it's supposed to! Extensive measurement categories, fast results, and even with multiple measurements, the readings are consistent and without significant fluctuations.
For the first time, a scale has given realistic values.
It works perfectly.
My only concern is the retractable cord on the handheld unit with its automatic rewind function; I'm unsure about its durability and functionality. But time will tell!

I'm so glad I came across the Taurus Wellness Pro body analysis scale at Fitshop!
After researching body composition scales, I came across the Taurus Wellness Pro body composition scale at Fitshop and took a closer look at its description. Although I was initially considering the functionally comparable Tanita scale, I ultimately ordered the Taurus Wellness Pro and think I made a very good decision, especially since it saved me several hundred euros that I can now invest elsewhere!
The scale is very well packaged, ensuring it arrives undamaged.
Upon unpacking, the appearance and workmanship of the product are very high quality and certainly indistinguishable from more expensive models.
Although the scale is almost too nice to use, the scale and the Fitday app make a great team for gaining deeper insights into your body. There's a lot of discussion about the accuracy of body composition scales, but after the initial analyses and my own objective assessment of my body, the scale and app provide reliable data that you can use as a guide.
My conclusion: If you want a good body composition scale without breaking the bank, you should definitely take a closer look at the Taurus Wellness Pro body composition scale!
