The NordicTrack Step Climber XL makes stair training feel less like a chore and more like part of your day. The movement is low-impact, which means your joints get a break, while your glutes and quads still do the work. With a 16” HD touchscreen that tilts to the right angle, you can follow along with iFIT sessions on and off the machine, or simply stream something to watch while you move. Resistance shifts smoothly across 22 digital levels, with SmartAdjust™ changing it for you as you go. The oversized pedals offer a soft but secure surface, the fan picks up as your workout does, and the multi-grip handlebars let you switch your hold when you need a change of focus. You also get Bluetooth® audio, dual speakers, tracking tools and a USB-C port — everything in place to support your rhythm.

The NordicTrack Step Climber XL moves in a stair-stepping pattern that targets your glutes and quads without putting pressure on your knees or ankles. The stride is short and natural, with a vertical lift that helps keep your legs active through the full range. It’s well suited to building strength, stamina or just keeping your cardio up — especially when you want movement that’s easier on your joints.
RESISTANCE THAT ADAPTS TO YOU
You’ve got 22 digital resistance levels to work with, giving you the space to go light one day and push harder the next. The resistance adjusts quietly and smoothly, without breaking your flow. If you’re using iFIT with SmartAdjust™ (Pro membership required), the machine responds in real time to how you’re doing, so you’re not stopping to make changes mid-session.

SMART TECHNOLOGY THAT SUPPORTS YOUR GOALS
Pairing the Step Climber XL with an iFIT Pro Membership (sold separately) gives you access to a personalised plan built around your goals. The AI Coach helps you get started, the sessions are scheduled for you, and SmartAdjust™ automatically updates the difficulty based on how you’re progressing. All you need to do is step up and follow along.

The Step Climber XL syncs with Strava, Garmin and Apple Health (Pro membership required), so you can keep all your fitness data in one place. iFIT logs your activity while you move, and the built-in touchscreen supports streaming if you’d rather train with a show in the background.
