Rowing works your legs, core, back, shoulders and arms in one continuous movement. The BodyMax RM200 is an entry-level home rower with simple manual controls and 16 resistance levels. Turn the dial to change the resistance, then row at your own pace.
The contact-free magnetic brake runs quietly and smoothly. The seat travels along a 110 cm rail and sits 37 cm above the floor. Seven heel positions adjust the footplates to your feet, with adjustable straps across the top.
The console goes beyond a basic Quick Start. Set a time, distance or calorie target, choose one of three interval modes, or have a go at the interactive rowing game. The 5.5-inch LCD shows your workout data as you row. There’s a removable phone and tablet holder too, and two AA batteries power the console.

16 Levels, One Simple Dial
Turn the dial to move through 16 levels of magnetic resistance. Lower levels feel lighter through the stroke; higher levels add more load. You can change the resistance directly at the dial, without touching the console. The contact-free magnetic brake runs quietly and smoothly as you row.
Eight Ways to Row
Start with an open-ended row in Quick Start, or pick a time, distance or calorie target when you’d like something more defined. Interval options include 20/10, 10/20 and a custom mode where you set the work, recovery and number of rounds. Game mode changes things up with virtual obstacles that respond to your rowing intensity.
Your Workout Stats at Hand, No App Needed
The 5.5-inch LCD shows your time, 500 m pace, distance, calories, calories per hour and stroke rate as you row. Add a compatible wireless chest strap and you can see your heart rate too. There’s no app connection or account to set up; all your workout data appears directly on the console.
Get Comfy
Move the heel supports through seven positions until your feet sit comfortably, then pull the adjustable straps across. The seat sits 37 cm above the floor and moves along a 110 cm single rail.
Stand It Up When You’re Done
The RM200 measures just over 1.93 metres long when you row. Stand it upright afterwards and it measures 90 × 53 × 194 cm. Transport wheels help move the 39 kg rower, and four adjustable feet come in handy on slightly uneven floors. You can remove the tablet holder too.
No Plug Socket Needed
Two AA batteries power the console, with no mains connection to think about. There’s a removable tablet and phone holder just above the display, and the console goes to sleep when you leave it idle. Batteries aren’t included.
