GREAT MACHINE BUT……………
Brilliant machine built it today easy to build looks amazing only downside I asked if I can use normal weight plates with it I got told yes the Olympic sleeves come off but this isn’t the case,devastated as have no Olympic plates and they are so expensive ????????

Love the machine it’s a brilliant piece of equipment to have to build a massive chest and shoulders but bit dissapointed I got told the Olympic bars that hold the weights were sleeves and could come off but this isn’t true so now off to buy Olympic weights looking for the cheapest aaahhhh

Underwhelming
Bought this machine as I thought it was an amazing bit of kit & id love to give it 5 star but unfortunately there are a few things that don’t work for ME.
Bare in mind this is a generic machine built for the masses, may just be not suitable for me but using the decline function which I was excited about using ended up injuring my lower back due to the extremely unnatural angle, the seat unfortunately cannot be raised to a point where your bottom half is higher than your top half.
Usually with a decline you want your hips up and chest and shoulders on a decline but with this machine, it’s impossible, hips cannot be anything other than flat or at even more awkward angles, and it puts a ridiculous amount of discomfort into your lower back.
Also it would be great if there was a few extra safety pin holes so that there is a height for the press between one that is too high and too low and feels like you are about to tear your pec / shoulder.

Not satisfied
Wish all the functions worked but unfortunately I find the decline extremely uncomfortable.
Don’t be put off by this however as this is built for everyone but I cannot see how the decline function would be comfortable for anyone

An Investment
I bought this when I moved houses and got a larger garage. Don't be fooled, this takes up a good chunk of space in home gyms and really only should be bought if you have room to accommodate it.
However, if you do it's a very worthy investment. I'm almost 50 and after years of lifting and wear and tear on the body I had to assess the injury niggles that I was getting. This apparatus allows me to bench and press safely with no fears of breaking down without assistance from a spotter. And in fact, the mental assurance of this has enabled me to improve on my PBs for the first time in years - so that's always a good thing!

Bodymax CF666 lever bench
Ordered on line, the bench came within the delivery period.
It took about an hour to put together on my own and is straightforward for anybody who can use a spanner. The machine works great and I'm really pleased with it. Bench and shoulder press with no need for a spotter or Smith machine. A great purchase
