Adequate good quality home bench
This is a well made bench, with good quality materials, at a competitive price. It's easy to assemble and quite compact if space is a concern.
I mark it down for having a fixed seat plate, which makes it awkward if you're used to an adjustable seat.
I also really don't like the loose pin that locks in the seat back adjustment. It's unstable and can cause the seat back to rock from side to side, it's cumbersome to
lock into place, it's cheap, and potentially easy to lose if you're not careful.

Iffy t bar
The bench is solid and looks like the type you’d see in your local gym. However, the T bar’s (at the back of the bench) side looked chipped away, even though it was still solid I noticed it obviously wasn’t symmetrical and may potentially break in the future. So I informed PHF and they sent me a whole new bench. The communication from the order fulfilment TL was amazing. Definitely recommend!

Good value, robust but not perfect
Great bench – solid, stable etc. However, the mechanism that allows you to set the back at different angles is far from perfect. The holes through which you push a locating pin are misaligned because the support strut is not quite straight/twisted so you have to give the pin a solid clout (with a dumbell) to make it go through. It’s a pain. Otherwise very good.

Great bench. Very stable, so can used for step-ups as well as all the usual bench-based exercises. Upholstery seems high quality and is comfortable.
One of the great things about it is that it is not too heavy. I keep mine out of the way, behind a sofa in the living room. This means that I have to lift it over the sofa to position it for use. No problem with this one, yet it feels rock solid in use - no creaks or shifting at all. Adjustment is quick and easy and you even get a rack underneath for small dumbbells. I combined this with a set of Selectabells and the combination gives me a huge variety of workout options. For home use, this is the ideal bench and superb value.
