The WaterRower Performance Rowing Machine pairs authentic water resistance with refined craftsmanship. Each machine is handcrafted from solid wood, available in oak, cherry, walnut, shadow, vintage, and club finishes. As pioneers of water rowing technology, WaterRower created a rowing experience that mirrors the feel, sound, and rhythm of rowing on open water. At the heart of the Performance model is the PowerPulley system, delivering precise, stroke-by-stroke data. Thoughtful design upgrades support longer sessions, sharper feedback, and a smoother training flow. The result is a rower that feels grounded, responsive, and quietly confidence-boosting from the first pull.
UNIQUE WATER RESISTANCE
WaterRower’s flywheel uses real water to generate resistance. The harder you row, the greater the resistance, just like on water. Stroke feel stays smooth and progressive, with natural feedback throughout the drive.
HANDCRAFTED SOLID WOOD
Each frame is made by hand from sustainably sourced hardwood. The wood absorbs vibration and sound, creating a quieter row while ageing beautifully over time. Every grain pattern is slightly different, giving each rower its own character.
POWERPULLEY PERFORMANCE DATA
The integrated PowerPulley system replaces the traditional S4 monitor with a calibrated strain gauge and optical sensor. Force and power are measured directly at the pulley, delivering accurate real-time metrics.
WATERROWER CONNECT APP
Train and track sessions using the subscription-free WATERROWER Connect app on iOS and Android. Customise your data view, review past workouts, and sync sessions to Apple Health or Strava.
PERFORMANCE COMFORT UPGRADES
XL rails support a longer stroke length. A wider easy-grip handle reduces hand fatigue during longer rows. The upgraded commercial footboard offers secure foot placement during higher-intensity sessions.
SMART, COMPACT STORAGE
The rower stores upright, taking up roughly the same space as a dining chair. Integrated dolly wheels and a balanced centre of gravity support smooth movement and tidy vertical storage, with water securely contained in the tank.

Tolles Rudergerät für große Menschen
Auf der Suche nach einem Rudergerät, das für meine Größe (2,02m) passt, bin ich bei Fitshop fündig geworden. Das Gerät ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, der Aufbau ging einfach von der Hand und die Nutzung macht mit oder ohne App sehr viel Spaß. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Klitzekleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Wir müssen das Gerät aus Platzgründen immer aufrecht hinstellen. Dabei klappt der Arm, wo Handy oder Tablett befestigt ist, immer runter. Hier wäre eine Arritierung hilfreich.

Rundum passend - für die ganze Familie
Der waterrower ist für uns das perfekte Sportgerät. Das Rudern ist anspruchsvoll & macht Spaß. Falls man nicht zufälligerweise den Platz für eine private Gym hat, passt das Holz optimal in jedes Wohnzimmer. Hochkant haben schon viele Freunde den Waterrower für eine Kunstinstallation gehalten. Hochkant ist der Waterrower auch unattraktiv für die Kinder. Das ist für uns optimal.
Wir sind sehr glücklich und können es weiterempfehlen!
