What if your treadmill could keep up with you, without you touching a button? That's exactly what the Wahoo KICKR RUN Smart Treadmill does. Switch on RunFree Mode and run at your own pace. Move towards the front of the belt and it speeds up. Ease back and it slows down with you. Simple as that. You can tackle uphill climbs of up to 15%, enjoy downhill stretches at -3%, and feel the subtle side-to-side movement of the deck as you run. Want to take control yourself? Just reach for the handy speed and incline paddles. Connect your favourite training apps to explore virtual routes, follow expert coaches, join other runners or simply enjoy a run whenever you like.
You Set the Pace
Feel like picking up the speed? Go for it. With RunFree Mode, the KICKR RUN follows your lead. Sensors track your position on the belt and adjust the speed as you move. Head towards the front and the belt speeds up. Drop back a little and it slows down. It's especially handy for interval sessions, when you're switching between a fast run and a recovery jog. Or prefer to stick to a set speed? Just switch to manual mode.
Bring the Outdoors In
Hills, downhill stretches and even a little side-to-side movement underfoot. The KICKR RUN has a few tricks up its sleeve when it comes to recreating an outdoor run. Its responsive deck tilts gently from side to side as you move, a bit like running on a path that isn't perfectly flat. Add climbs of up to 15% and downhill sections at -3%, and you can get a taste of changing terrain without heading out the door.
Hills and Speed at Your Fingertips
Want to speed up or tackle a hill? Just reach for the KICKR RUN's handy control paddles to adjust the speed and incline mid-run. You can reach speeds of up to 24.1 km/h (that's a seriously quick 2:30 min/km pace!) and make small adjustments when you want to get your speed just right. Or switch on RunFree Mode and leave the speed changes to the treadmill.
Stretch Out Your Stride
The KICKR RUN has a 152 x 56 cm running belt, giving you a generous 56 cm of width to work with. The open-ended design is particularly handy when using RunFree Mode, as you can move forwards or backwards along the belt to change speed.
Just the Bits You Need
Want to check your pace or see how steep that hill is? A quick glance at the KICKR RUN's console tells you both, with the speed and incline paddles right by your hands. There's a shelf for your phone, tablet or laptop, plus a USB-C port to charge your device during a run. Connect a training app to check your running stats, follow a coached workout or explore a virtual route on screen.
All Your Favourite Apps
The KICKR RUN works with Zwift, Wahoo SYSTM, Kinomap, Peloton, Humango and TrainingPeaks. You can race other runners on Zwift, explore routes on Kinomap or follow a training plan in Wahoo SYSTM. The KICKR RUN measures 183 cm long, 97 cm wide and 148 cm high. Leave at least 203 cm clear behind the treadmill and 61 cm on each side, with additional clearance at the front. Wahoo recommends a dedicated floor area of approximately 4.5 x 2 metres.
For ceiling height, allow at least 61 cm above the height of the tallest person using the treadmill. Remember that the running deck rises from 30 cm to 46 cm as the incline increases.
Power requirements
The KICKR RUN needs a dedicated electrical circuit. Wahoo specifies a 200–240V supply with a suitable 16A or 32A circuit and appropriate breaker configuration for international models. Please check the installation requirements with a qualified electrician before delivery.
