Taurus Ultra Force Multi Gym

Firstly this product came in 2.boxes. For some reason the courier decided to deliver these on separate days, not a fault of FitShop but worth mentioning in case it happens to someone else. Luckily box 2 came first which had the stuff to do step 1 and step 6.of the assembly. Assembling this was done alone and probably took about 2 and a half hours in total. Having 2 people would speed up the process as you can be screwing things together simultaneously. Only thing where a second person may be necessary for some is attaching the main frame to the base frame. Can be done alone but risks a hefty piece of metal falling on you. The machine is great so far for me. Cables are more challenging than free weights and you feel that after a few sets. Honestly can't say how true to resistance it is because I've only ever done home workouts with minimal equipment but it seems fairly accurate when comparing against some dumbbell exercises I've done. It's amazing how many exercises you can do on this machine and it includes a manual with them all in. Realistically you will only have a select few per muscle group in your routine at any given time but there's options to see which exercises feel good for you. Resistance is marked in increments of 5lbs per side, however there are holes between these increments so you can go up or down 2.5lns per side which is handy for isolation exercises. Only issue I have is removing/attaching the seat is an absolute chore. It's very difficult to hook on and off and get the bolt through. I've structured my workouts so seated exercises come first then standing ones at the end to overcome this so it doesn't frustrate me too much. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Just purchased the Taurus ultra force multi gym I haven’t put it together yet but my dad’s just bought one and says it’s brilliant. The buying process has been seem less thanks to Uros at Powerhouse fitness who advised me every step of the way with my order and has kept in touch since. Can’t wait to put it together thanks Uros.

Bought this for my small home gym, took me about 3-4 hours to build. Works brilliantly, best piece of equipment when space is at a premium.

Put mine together about 3 weeks ago. Very clear instructions and highly engineered and took about 3 hours on my own with a couple to tea breaks. . This is a solid piece of kit that just does so many exercises and I am extremely happy with the purchase.

I've had this gym for just over a year now and to be honest never write reviews but felt that I had to as its just that good !.. Like many others in lock down we built a gym but were restricted to how much weight we could have in there, so was worried that this was gonna be a below par purchase but coudnt of been more wrong!. Nearly every exercise is covered and takes seconds to change the resistance. It would be perfect for flats,apartments or dedrooms.

Very pleased with this machine! It arrived well packed in two heavy boxes. I built it myself, following clear instructions, in a day, with some assistance at first assembly stage. There are loads of exercises provided, from beginner to advanced. The setting range is not as stated though. The actual scale is 5kg to 110kg on each side in 2.5kg increments. It is very quiet and easy to use and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Arrived fairly promptly. I did have some difficulty getting though on the phone, but placed the order online. It arrived in two big boxes, and although it says you need two people to assemble it, it’s only for when you are attaching the vertical to the floor plate when there was a possibility of a part falling over. It wasn’t unsteady or anything, just took my time and care with it. In use the machine is amazing. Really well made and all the holes (bar the one where the seat peg secures) are in the right place. Neat welding everywhere and the assembly manual is the best I’ve seen in a very long time. Comes with all the tools you need to assemble and I had no missing parts (and no bits left over!) I was worried that I wouldn’t enjoy the difference between this and a plate based system, but once you’ve tried it - you won’t miss the clanking of the plates and the smooth constant resistance is a delight to use. I have one small technical issue which is being resolved now and the tech team are a delight to work with. For the money - it’s really good value, well made and easy to build.

A great piece of equipment, arrives in 2 boxes, I assembled on my own which took some time but I didn’t exactly rush it. You know it’s a quality product when during installation everything lines up perfectly, no short cuts needed, I used my own tools instead of the supplied ones just to speed things up but overall what appears daunting at the beginning is not bad and the instruction book is really well thought out and explains everything in enough detail to be able to construct it yourself. Once assembled it’s an amazing piece of equipment. Very innovative using hydraulics instead of physical weights. To be honest having had a previous one with weight blocks, this is much better, quieter and smoother. Haven’t got round to really understanding the array of exercises you can do, but have done the basics which were great. Very achy the next morning! So nothing but praise for this machine and would certainly recommend it. Great service from Powerhouse, delivered within a week even in the general lock down.

Firstly, ordered from powerhouse as In stock and delivered in 3 days. Well done Powerhouse an outstanding service. Secondly, what an amazing piece of kit once assembled. I must admit I didn’t assemble it but I had a guy who did it with his son and took about 3 hours so I can’t comment on how straightforward it was apart from they said it was well described and all the parts and tools were there. So, now assembled, WOW...... I’ve watched the YouTube vids and followed instructions and yes you can do 50 plus exercises and I’m still learning more.... totally recommend this company and this gym but if you don’t do flat pack furniture it may be a challenge
