The future for running indoors
If you’re reading this review then you’ve probably already decided on choosing a curved treadmill over a traditional one. Having tried a curved treadmill in the gym it was definitely the right decision for me. Setup was reasonably straight forward apart from the manual not being sufficiently detailed regarding the electrical treadmill connection but all sorted with a call from the engineer. The treadmill has an excellent commercial feel being stable when in operation, screen is clear with space for tablet/phone and drinks holder. Resistance settings (4 of them) work really well - you can easily move from sprinting one second to sled pulls the next - each targeting different muscle groups. Feels more like running outside than a traditional treadmill with less impact on joints. Also treadmill encourages forefoot striking rather than heel strike. From every aspect the treadmill excels whether you are performing HIIT’s, sled pulls, brisk walk or steady state cardio. Greater concentration is required though than with a normal treadmill. One thing to note is that it weighs circa 35kg’s if you want to move the treadmill using the lifting bar. All in all a five star product from Powerhouse (Batley)- just order it the wait will be worth it!!

Fantastic machine!
Fantastic machine. I was a bit sceptical as I'm used to the powered treadmills but it turned out to be much better than anything I've used before. You can easily control the speed after you get used to how it works. Very sturdy and robust as well. Would definitely recommend

Run to my own pace!
My old treadmill was getting tired so I upgraded to one of these self-powered, curved treadmills. The ability to instantly change your pace is amazing, no more waiting for an old motor to pick up pace, or breaking your flow to find the "Speed Up" button. So much more realistic to outdoor running and makes interval traning a breeze!

Had the for a few weeks now, and i wont be using a powered treadmill again. Feels more natural to run on, and mimics outdoor running much more compared to a normal treadmill. Fast delivery and great service from powerhouse.
