Schwinn 800IC Indoor Cycle (Formerly IC8)

I was looking for an indoor bike and found what I was looking for at Fitshop Augsburg, where I could test ride and get advice. I decided on the Schwinn Speedbike 800IC. Delivery was trouble-free. I was able to assemble it quickly; all the parts were there, although the instructions were a bit small. The workmanship seems solid, and the bike runs very smoothly. My only complaint is that the guide sleeve for the seatpost adjustment knob in the pre-assembled frame was screwed in too deeply. This initially prevented me from installing the seatpost. Also, the screws used have two different head types (Phillips head and Allen head). The Phillips head screws strip very quickly during assembly.

Much has already been written about this bike, so there's no point in repeating it all. The service and communication during and after the order were flawless. A very nice shop; I'll definitely buy from them again if I need more fitness equipment. The bike is incredibly stable and seems built to last. Whether it's hard sprints or high cadence, the bike handles it all effortlessly. I use it with Apple Fitness+, and it's practically perfect for that. The somewhat outdated bike computer is irrelevant for my setup, but it displays the most essential functions if you need it. An update from the manufacturer wouldn't hurt, though; it certainly doesn't look like it's ready for 2025. The positioning of the water bottle holder is a bit odd. During standing rides, your knees can get very, very close to the bottle, at least with 0.75L bottles. Moving the handlebars even further forward isn't a solution either, as this might result in an overly stretched-out riding position. The best solution is simply to turn the bottles upside down; it's worked for me so far, though it looks a bit odd. The bike runs extremely quietly and is very easy to use. Assembly is also easily done alone; everything feels very high-quality and solid. The resistance adjustment knob could be just a tiny bit more precise, then it would be perfect. But I'm really nitpicking here. I'm having a lot of fun with the bike so far and I'm sure I'll be putting many more kilometers on it. Aside from these minor flaws, it's a great piece of fitness equipment.

The product is solid and exactly what I was looking for, sold at a truly affordable price. I purchased it to follow online spinning bike lessons from Marta Fovana's YouTube channel. She uses the same bike in her gym. This is a guarantee of quality, and I've been very satisfied with its use. It's very versatile, both for simple training and when combined with online platforms.

The spin bike is solid, very quiet, and well-equipped. Assembly is simple, and the structure conveys a sense of safety. The saddle height adjustment isn't micrometric, but it still allows for a good range of motion. Both the saddle and the handlebars, at maximum height, have a bit of play, which doesn't compromise safety, but may be uncomfortable for some. The distance between the pedals is greater than on a professional bicycle or spin bike, but that's normal for a semi-pro model. The flywheel is smooth, and pedaling is comfortable, as is the resistance adjustment (the maximum resistance, however, isn't extreme). I should point out, however, the position of the bottle cages, which, if used with standard (not short) bottles, can cause knee discomfort for those over 1.80 meters tall. Overall, an excellent purchase. I recommend it.

The bike is very silent and solid. Not solid as a professional bike, but enough for almost any user. The seat is very good, also the flywheel. The bottle holders could be better, but they are not a real problem with my weight (185 cm). But if you are taller you should check it first. I recommend this bike
