Great device; the stride length adjustment is perfect for multiple people of different heights. The higher ellipse also gives you the feeling of jogging rather than just walking. Plus, it's really stable and fun to use!

I bought the EX-70-5 a few months ago. Since I couldn't afford the EX-90, I went with the EX-70 because of its similar frame. I recommend two people and a bit of time for assembly. I'm satisfied with the stability of the machine. It's perfectly adequate for the workouts my husband and I do three times a week at a moderate pace, both before and after weight training. Unfortunately, I feel a bit restricted in my stride length (at 1.85m), which is why I originally had my eye on the EX-90. That's why I'm deducting one star for people of my height. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is excellent, and I've gotten used to my workouts with a slightly shorter stride. A definite top recommendation for most people. PS: The feeling is a bit like walking on clouds, not as flat and choppy as on many rail-guided elliptical trainers (but I also have friends who find other elliptical trainers much better than mine - that's why my recommendation for cross trainers is always - try them out first!)

In February 2024, I received the predecessor to the current EX70. Unfortunately, it made noises that made training a real ordeal. After several attempts to repair the noise, the technical support team in Schleswig decided to replace the trainer. My thanks to the staff for their consistently friendly and understanding contact with the technical hotline. They deserve an extra star for that. Regarding the new model: Frame: It's very stable. Due to its weight, I highly recommend having a second person to help with assembly. Assembly: Thanks to the instructions and the clear layout of the parts, it's no problem. Usage: The movement is nice and smooth. The trainer runs very quietly – at least during the first few sessions. You can occasionally hear the whirring of the servo motors. Which brings me to the control system. The control system reacts quickly to the heart rate-based settings to prevent any overshoots (excellent). Operating the control unit (setting the training programs) is intuitive and easy. Perhaps one point of criticism: The display could be mounted a little higher or its angle could be adjusted. Depending on the viewing angle, the display appears somewhat milky. But that's a minor complaint. The drink holder, which accommodates bottles from 0.33L to 0.75L, is perfectly suited and easily accessible. In conclusion: I'm very happy with the new EX70 and can recommend it to anyone looking for a good trainer. And let's not forget, when you call the hotline, you speak to a person, not a computer. I hope it stays that way. Perhaps I'll update this review after using it for a longer period to share my experiences regarding its durability.
