Yonex

Yonex was founded in Japan in 1946 by Minoru Yoneyama, starting out making wooden floats for fishing nets before pivoting to badminton in 1957. The brand went on to introduce the world's first T-Joint racket construction and the ISOMETRIC head shape, both of which changed how the sport was played. Today Yonex is the official supplier of shuttles for all BWF major events and the Olympic Games, and one of the most trusted names across badminton and tennis worldwide.

Badminton rackets come in three styles: head-heavy, even balance and head-light, each changing how the racket feels on court. Yonex organises its range along those lines. The Astrox 88 Play and Astrox Nextage are head-heavy with medium flex, good for aggressive, attacking play. The Arcsaber 7 Play has an even balance and hi-flex shaft, sitting in the middle ground. The Mavis 300 nylon shuttles fly close to a feather shuttle feel. Two and four player sets are also available if you need everything in one go.
