Description: BodyMax B50 Exercise Bike

The BodyMax B50 Exercise Bike is a great-value, compact, easy-to-use exercise bike with a 20kg flywheel, ensuring a smooth and stable ride.

The B50’s resistance is controlled by a simple gear lever, which is intuitive and easy to use. The belt-driven mechanism, coupled with a friction resistance system produces a real-feel cycling experience that will mimic closely the sensation of cycling outdoors. Unlike digital, console-based resistance adjustment systems, friction resistance systems don’t require a power source, which means you’ll save money on electricity, and can keep your workout space tidy and safe, free of cables.

The handlebar-mounted LCD workout console monitors and displays key workout stats such as distance, speed, pulse, time, and calories burned. Monitoring workout stats helps keep you motivated and allows you to track your progress over time as you advance along your fitness journey. The B50 also features a smartphone/tablet shelf so you can enjoy your favourite media while you cycle.

The B50’s compact design and front-mounted transport wheels make it ideal for home use. With a modest footprint of 144x63x133cm, the B50 won’t take up too much space in your home gym, and weighing 55kg, the bike is relatively easy to move, whether transporting for storage or just rearranging your workout space. Its 20kg flywheel ensures a smooth and pleasant cycling experience, as well as keeping the bike stable and safe, and its 130kg maximum user weight will suit a variety of users.

To accommodate a wide variety of users, the B50’s saddle and handlebars are easily adjustable. Both the handlebar and saddle are adjustable vertically and horizontally, and the saddle’s angle/tilt is also able to be adjusted. The mechanisms to adjust are extremely easy to use, and there are also easy-adjustable straps on the pedals to secure your feet while you pedal.

The simple black and red colour scheme is elegant and will look great in any home gym. The rear-mounted flywheel gives the bike a classic, authentic look. The saddle is padded for your comfort, and the handlebars feature a variety of different grip options. Also included is a water bottle holder to help keep you hydrated through every workout.

Bodymax B50
Would definitely recommend the B50, the quality is brilliant. The service was great and made sure I felt secure with my purchase throughout the whole process. Has been great for working out at home, not had an issue.

Faulty pedals and poor customer service
We purchased this over Christmas and within two weeks one of the pedals had worked itself loose and the thread was ruined, meaning it could not be put back on securely. Within another week the other pedal had done the same and came off during use, luckily avoiding sustaining injury in the process. First contacted Power House fitness on 8th Feb to try and resolve, it is now 22nd of Feb and there has been no communication other than forwarding it to their technical faults team more than two weeks ago. Now struggling to get in contact with the vendor to resolve our unusable and shoddy bike.

Fantastic quality product and service, could not be happier with this purchase. Definitely purchasing from here again!

Excellent Bike
I bought this bike as an upgrade of my previous exercise bike, I wanted one mainly with a heavier Fly wheel to give a bit of extra resistance during spin classes and using the bike for long rides. The bike provides this, Its very sturdy. It takes around 30 minutes to put together with handy instructions. I had an issue with the thread of the peddle but it was sorted very quickly and they sent me a new part. Using the bike is a dream. Its extremely quiet and lovely and smooth to ride. I'm really pleased with the purchase and look forward to jumping on it most days. If there is a down side it is the fact that the bottle holder is on the handle bars and not attached to the main frame but that is only a personal preference.

A proper training bike
Very impressed with this exercise bike - extremely sturdy and feels like a gym quality product. Really does give you a proper workout and defiantly built to last. The adjustments are good and easy to change between family members. Resistance is easy to change while riding. The computer is basic but does the job. It allows you to see your progress - might not be 100% accurate - but you can easily push yourself each day to do more miles/minutes/calories. The pulse gauge seems to be about right but I would not use it for anything other than an indication. There are cheaper bikes out there but I think that you do start to compromise. The more expensive ones might be a bit more advanced with the monitoring etc but mechanically I cant see the point paying 2 as much for this. All in all a great bike that is getting my family fitter by the day!

Fantastic bike
The bike is extremely easy to assemble and very sturdy. The flywheel provides excellent resistance and I get a great workout (I spin at the gym 3 times a week). I would not hesitate recommending this bike. It’s truly fantastic. My only suggestion would be to get dual peddles so you can use proper cycling shoes. That provides a better workout IMO.

Great bike at a good price. Only issue, on first start up the flywheel was catching the plastic casing so quite noisy and that is why I give it a 4 star. Reset the position of the casing and is now quieter. Gear lever adjustment easy to use for varying resistance and also a beginner!

Pro quality spin bike
Having used Kaiser M3i and Schwinn AC Performance pro bikes in gym for 5 years nearly daily, this B50 bike is as good, better in some regards but a fraction of price. Like M3i has rear flywheel allowing considerable bar height adjustment, as does seat post, though fore/aft seat and handlebars adjust is not large in range (though fine for 6ft and 5ft users). Super sturdy construction, smooth and spookily quiet. Level adjust from (-) through (1 to 8) and (+) has notches but you can set it in between for even greater resistance control. Past level 4 the resistance is generally getting quite high, as it should be for HIIT however you may never use the higher numbers !! Mind you on Kaiser M3i never used less than 14 so nothing is perfect. Computer is a bit plasticky and calories reads low. Resistance handle is set a little low down on the bike, if you change levels a lot mid routine. Aside from that cannot fault it.

Love the b50. Really quiet bike and like how it has a 20kg flywheel. Feel like I'm doing a great workout on this bike.

Bodymax B50 Tour Rear Wheel Indoor Cycle
Strong, sturdy and silent. Coupled with it's good looks and smooth running the B50 provides a very stable exercise platform for both beginners and seasoned cyclists a like. Although weighing over 50kg it is still an easy assembly for one person. Only one negative, as a vertically challenged person it would have been an advantage if the adjustable handlebar post could have been lowered by a further 3 inches.
