The Objective

With over 400 members of staff, IKEA Glasgow is busy workplace filled with fitness enthusiasts. Their hard-working team were looking for a modern, functional gym environment that could be utilised for different types of training. IKEA value their employees and place a huge emphasis on company culture. They believe that creating a brand-new fitness space will encourage a healthy lifestyle and grow the sense of community between team members. That’s why they contacted Fitshop.

The Process

Following an initial consultation, Steven, a member of Fitshop’s Commercial Sales department conducted a site visit to gain a better understanding of IKEAs needs and assess the space. This helped shape the gym design and allowed Steven to advise the company on the fitness equipment that was suited to achieving their goals. Their new gym was then installed in a timely manner by our team of experts.

The team at IKEA Glasgow are overjoyed with their new gym space with over 120 members of staff already enlisted for an induction.
