Atlantic Saunas Mono Infrared Sauna

The Atlantic Saunas Mono Infrared Sauna gives you a calm little space to pause and reset. It’s designed for one person and uses carbon nano infrared heaters that create a steady, even warmth without pushing up the air temperature too much. The digital control panel is placed on the outside, so you can easily adjust the heat and session time before stepping in. There’s also a sound system.

The cabin itself is made from Canadian Hemlock, a smooth, non-toxic wood that stays cool to the touch and handles heat well. An oxygen ioniser helps keep the air fresh while you sit back and let the heat do its thing. 

The Mono Infrared uses five carbon nano infrared heaters that warm the body directly instead of just heating the air. This kind of heat builds slowly and sinks in deep, encouraging a steady sweat without that heavy, stifling feel. It’s a simple way to ease off the day, release tension and support better circulation. 

The sauna is made for one person, so you get your own quiet, dedicated space to recharge. The layout is compact but comfortable, with a small footprint that fits into spare rooms, garages or anywhere with enough headroom. 

It comes with a digital control panel, an oxygen ioniser, and sound system. You can set the heat just how you like it, put something on in the background and settle in while the cabin does the rest. 

The sauna is made from prefabricated panels that are simple to put together.Canadian Hemlock wood is a non-toxic material that holds its shape and won’t give off strong smells when heated. Once assembled and hard-wired, it’s ready for regular indoor use. 

Is the sauna easy to assemble?
Yes, it usually takes around 45 minutes. The sauna arrives flat-packed in five boxes, and the panels slot together neatly. All the tools you’ll need are included. A clear step-by-step manual comes with it too.

Does the sauna need any ventilation or plumbing?
No plumbing is required. The sauna is self-venting, with a sliding vent to help manage heat. It sits slightly raised on four supports, so airflow underneath keeps the floor protected too.

Is it tricky to put together in a loft or basement?
As long as the panels can fit through the door or hatch, you’re good to go. The flat-packed design is easy to move around, and there’s no need for special flooring, wiring or ventilation. It can be set up in a spare room, garage, loft or basement.

Can this sauna be used outside?
Only if it’s placed in a sheltered space like a summerhouse or garden building. For anything fully exposed to the weather, have a look at the outdoor sauna range.

Is installation available?
We offer free delivery with every sauna, but installation isn’t included, as it needs to be hard-wired by a qualified electrician. Most people put it together themselves, as everything’s included to do the job. If you'd rather have someone do it for you, you’re welcome to arrange a local tradesperson.

How much clearance is needed?
Allow at least 15 cm above the sauna, so the ceiling height should be 205 cm or more.

Can I just plug the sauna into a regular wall socket?
It’s not recommended. The sauna operates close to (or just above) the 13A limit of a standard UK plug, depending on voltage. It must be hard-wired into its own dedicated circuit by a qualified electrician.

Why can’t I use an extension lead?
Because it’s not just about convenience — it’s about safety. The sauna draws high current, and an extension lead might overheat or even cause a fire. Don’t risk it.

Please note:

If installing upstairs, make sure the largest panel (90 x 190 cm) will fit through any access points.

This sauna must be hard-wired on its own circuit. The UK voltage range of 216.2V–253.0V gives it an amp range of 11.86–13.88. UK domestic plugs are capped at 13A, so this setup should not be used with an extension lead. If you’re unsure, always consult a qualified electrician.
